At Tararua Animal Therapy, we offer traditional acupuncture for horses and dogs. Our holistic approach supports the body’s natural healing processes, promoting overall well-being and recovery.

Initial Consult

$120

Duration: Up to 60min

During our initial consultation, we take the time to thoroughly review your animal's medical history and address any current concerns. Afterward, we will conduct a physical exam before beginning the acupuncture treatment. We ensure that each appointment lasts up to an hour, giving your animal ample time to feel at ease with the process and enjoy the experience.

Canine Clients

All canine appointments are held at our canine clinic in Masterton or at Pet Vet in Lower Hutt, Wellington.

If you are not located in Wellington or the Wairarapa, please don’t hesitate to contact us for a travel fee quote.

Book four or more appointments and receive a discount

If you book four or more appointments in one sitting you will receive a discounted rate!

Discounted Rates:

Follow up consult - $85

Follow Up Consult

$95

Duration: Up to 45min

During our follow-up consultation, we’ll review any changes or improvements your animal has experienced since their last appointment. We will then continue with the next steps of their treatment plan. These appointments typically last up to 40 minutes.

Equine Clients

All equine appointments are held at a location that is most convenient for you. Please note that a travel fee will apply to all equine appointments, based on the distance from Tararua Animal Therapy’s base location. We have bases in Masterton and Wellington, and the applicable travel fee will depend on your location relative to our nearest base.
