Jade's interest in acupuncture started with her own health issues, like neurological problems and muscle discomfort. Her love for animals inspired her to explore how acupuncture could help heal them too.
Through her studies, Jade saw firsthand how acupuncture helped her dog, Meisie, heal. This experience led her to create Tararua Animal Therapy, aiming to help many animals with different health issues.

Meet Jade
Meet Jade, a caring local practitioner who specializes in acupuncture for horses and dogs. Her lifelong love for animals started in childhood and has led her through different ways of helping them.
Originally focused on training young horses, Jade found great joy in this role for five years. However, health reasons led her to explore new ways to assist animals.

Jade became even more interested in holistic therapies after seeing the limitations of traditional treatments for her own horse, Shelby, who faced both physical and emotional challenges (pictured). Inspired by her own positive experiences with acupuncture, which greatly improved her well-being, Jade decided to explore its potential benefits for animals.

In 2024, Jade completed certification in Animal Acupuncture, marking a big step in her dedication to improving the physical and mental wellness of animals. She is excited to use her expertise to help enhance the lives of your beloved pets.
